Been away for a few days camping in the Lake District with our daughter and granddaughters. No phones, so back to basics with frisbees and bat and balls. Weather was kind to us. Kids loved it, swimming in the lake. Can't beat a weekend away with family for a while to forget all your cares and woes. Best wishes.
Best kind of holiday. Breath-taking countryside, wild swimming, close to the earth, bird song in the morning. Perfect weather last week and semi-miraculous given UK climate! I was doing same Rilly with daughter, and grand daughter camping in Devon. Loved it. Perfect distraction from next week's cystoscopy. Nonetheless pleased to be home and sleeping indoors given severe weather warnings for tomorrow and Saturday. The indoor toilet has it's attractions too :) Love x
Too true H. Genuine quality time with the family and all our cares and woes forgotten for a time. Toilets . Wishing you well for your forthcoming cysto. Best wishes.
Hi Riley , have not been here while, had fourth cystoscopy in July ( flexi at last ) clear and will have cystoscopy in 6 months time. I am glad you had a good holiday with your family. You are the most valuable member here and we all value your views.
Best wishes to you and all x
Great to have you back Rily! The thought of you in the middle of nowhere with the good old fashioned bat & ball made me laugh I can remember camping with MrB & his kids about 20 years ago, they thought I was bonkers with my board games, cricket bat, & colouring books
They were well into their play stations at the time, & couldn't seem to get the hang of things at all. I was absolutely shocked & sad about it, all that missing out on the fun.
I have been around, but just lurking in the background.
Hoping everyone's as well as can be expected xxx
All the best for next week Herothedog! I shall be raising one of my many glasses to you xxx
Thanks Blanket, fingers crossed I shall be raising one myself on Monday night. xx
