My partner has had bladder cancer since 2010. He has had various treatments over the years and it comes back from time to time. This year prostrate cancer has joined in so now he has both to contend with. His oncologist wants to remove both but my partner is reluctant at this stage so other treatments are being tried. All this is very hard going.

It's a tough choice and one many of us here have faced. Some patients want the least invasive treatment and continue with their current life, accepting it may be risky, and others will do anything to survive, despite the impact of major surgery.
The reality is that it is a very personal choice and, hopefully, an informed one. Whatever the choices including no treatment, we have the experience here to advise on what to expect so feel free to ask us anything.
