Sickness again

When I was diagnosed with a blood cancer in March 2015, I found that unusually for me I began to get sick or feel sick every day.

I mentioned it to my GP and she prescribed Ondansetron. A couple of those every day has banished my sickness. I've been taking them for almost 6 years now and they still seem to be working.

Yes Ondansatron worked for me as well. I don’t need it now but have some just in case

In the meantime, I've found that the absolute best thing for rapid relief is a small glass of ginger beer

I second that - anything with proper ginger in is a great anti-sickness aid.

Thank you both. I did think of buying ginger biscuits. Remember from way back when I was pregnant and feeling sick all the time

Who knew?  I must get some.  I have donperidone if that’s how you spell it, and I take ondansatron on the day of chemo

hope you are both keeping well.

well, I bought the ginger biscuits, but luckily havnt had to use them as sickness isn’t as bad at the moment. I’m eating smaller meals which seem to stay down thank goodness.
