Hi I just wanted to share some positive news - my ct scan was clear and I’ve stopped chemo after 7 treatments and even had my PICC line removed today! I was very fatigued with little appetite since my last treatment and although I was offered my next treatment on Tuesday, with my oncologist’s agreement I declined it. I will be closely monitored at least initially with another ct scan in 8 weeks then another one after 3 months which I found reassuring as there was a major failure with me not being made aware of the result of a ct scan in February 2020 by a Gynae Dr until I was taken ill again in June 2020. Have a good weekend all! Jayne x
alsopkj that’s the best news ever! I’m so happy for you. I’m also very pleased there’s a longer term plan so you’re not slipping into limbo, other people have said it’s a lot to take in after so much intensive treatment.
I hope you’ll be able to rest & gradually build up some resilience again.
Lovely start to the day, thanks for sharing xx
