Hello
Wide awake in the early hours thinking ahead to my Consultants appointment on Friday. Serves already kicking in. I wrote this poem, so thought i would post it, hope you like it.
The ghost train glides to a stop on silent wheels.
The doors open but no one gets out.
Faces unknown stare at me.
A hand beckons me forward
But I step back. It waits.
I am not ready to leave this day.
The doors close, shut by unseen hands.
It moves away but it will be back
To carry me away when my day is done.
Hi Ellie
I will keep my fingers crossed for you. It's a beautiful poem. It has a lot of meaning on many levels! Did it make you feel better?
Xx
Hello
Yes, I think it did. It means I’m not ready to give up, not yet.
