My husband has lung cancer and is coming to the end of a year of immunotherapy. It’s all gone really well but I am so anxious. I have discovered he’s smoking again. I haven’t told anyone and am petrified the cancer will come back as soon as treatment finishes. He tells me he is trying to stop again and only having a couple a day. I’m still working full time so I don’t know if he’s lying. The kids will go mental I’m sure if I tell them and I don’t want to start arguments in the family. I’m now not sleeping well and have gone off sick for two days. I just feel I should be happy as treatment has gone well but I’m feeling like I want to cry now. Not sure what to do.
Hi Dreamthief. I thought he was using just a vap but seems he is doing both to keep up pretence. He has a low nicotine vap I think. Thanks for your reply. x
Hi Kamac, my son has been prescribed a nicotine replacement on his NHS giving up smoking course. Might be worth checking out?
Hugs,
LoobyLou
