Well today we have been to the oncologist , they have decided that they are not going to treat the cancer as it is far more advanced in the brain than originally thought, I can't say I'm surprised because of how quickly he has deteriorated, I just hope that it is quick, for his sake, I saw my mum go through a long drawn out end and I really don't wish that on anyone.
Hi hayley,
It's ok at the moment, I have had lots of people coming around to do assessments but no care plan in place yet, part of the waiting game. He is doing my head in at the moment, he agrees to go into the hospice for respite when they are here to ask him, as soon as they phone to say a bed is available he refuses to go . I do understand that he is scared but I am so tired all I want is to be left alone for a couple of days. I'm sure we will get it sorted soon
