I've been on anastrozole since march 2012, also have to have four weekly Arimidex (gossorine) injections. Throughout I have suffered with numb hands , stiff joints and hand pain at night. november 2014 , i was told nothing show on the scan come back in 7 weeks and hopefully we operate for a cure

We are on our second week of aggressive radiation treatment, we are on steroids (prednisolone) to try reduce the inflammation around her brain from the radiation, seems you have to treat the treatment as well as treating the tumour! Kee is being amazing, truly brave little soul enjoys playing with the other children. GOSH is an amazing hospital, can't thank the nurses and doctors enough, very supportive and they love Kee.

It’s been a long time since my last blog post, for lots of reasons, mostly because I’ve been feeling pretty ill and just not up to doing anything much at all. I realised a few days ago that my days mostly consist of sleeping, and when I am awake I’m taking care of the consequences of my illness. And that’s about it. The local charity were running a PSA testing event for people in the village, it was raining that day so we hadn't gone out. I went for the test, initially I did park in the wrong place but eventually found the centre. It was a shock to receive a letter a few weeks later saying I should go to my GP. 48yrs female - spreading solar keratosis on lower lip 13 yrs
treatments so far (in this order)biopsy. liquid nitrogen. cautery curettage. efudix cream. biopsy. photodynamic therapy. biopsy. photodynamic therapy. efudix. aldara.surgeon now says option is to cut off entire lower lip as it has spread aggressively across lower lip. then reconstruct.
the biopsies so far have deformed the lip so i do not really have much faith in the reconstruction should surgery go ahead.the other option is radiation therapy...
