My first chemo session went well apart from having to have a sedative before because my BP was high. I a bit confused wether to rename this blog , the confusion being is there is a suspect image in my left lung which may be cancerours or scar tissue from the operation in October,
if by a miracle it is scar tissue and i only need one final operation to my right lung then all good then the name of the blog is correct and it is a third dance with germ cell cancer,
but if its new, which is really worring ,is it a 4th dance with germ cell cancer, i hope not as this could it going to keep coming back...

ok so back in 2012 my mum got diagnosed with kidney cancer and at that ver same time also got told she only actually had 1 kidney! Total shook to her! I had a GP appointment on Friday morning. Initially it had been simply to renew some prescriptions, but for the last few weeks my abdomen has been swelling up, and by the end of last week it was barely endurable. I can't stand up straight because it hurts too much, and I look pregnant....

I'm sorry if anyone uses this phrase but I am so frustrated at hearing "sadly lost their battle to cancer", I understand that it's said from a very good place and people often don't know how to say things in times of death but it just makes me angry, in my opinion, the phrase insinuates that the person who has died, simply gave up!
I have met and lost many people to cancer as well to other illnesses, but...
