So today's not been as easy as yesterday. Everyone's at each other's throats and everyone needs a break from each other. The only problem is it feels like that's not possible.
Vlog update time! Still getting my head around a lot of the ins and outs of treatment and the type of cancer I have. Sadly one of the things I know I have to do is to take clippers to the face fuzz!

25th November 2016. Hospital appointment for results of biopsy. At this point I was still going to work amongst the appointments and the worrying. I'd told my kids there was something wrong and that these appointments were to find out what it was.
I waited around thirty or forty minutes in the waiting room with my partner trying to control the panic inside, because although I KNEW there was something not good, I didn't really want to hear it. I had also hoped that I'd read the situation...
So things have settled down a bit, mum seems to be stabilising a bit and day to day life feels like it is becoming a new kind of normal. She helped make dinner tonight for the first time in a long time and it was a huge momentous moment which we were able to share together .
This is positive however......I seem to have become an insomniac! Because things have settled down a bit and I'm not rushing around quite so much Im not as exhausted as I was and now have too much time to think, especially...
So, there we were, our daughter 'E' back at school and after a CT scan showing no cancer present, it seemed that E's problems were all under control.
'E' went back to school, half heartedly but she tried to get on with it. After a while it became apparent that 'E' needed some psychological help. Well who wouldn't at 15 dealing with cancer. After some counselling session, things seemed to be returning to normal, well as normal as things can be with the 3 monthly check ups and CT scans...
He was rushed straight to LGI hospital for ct scans and mri's where they found he had fluid on the brain and needed a shunt fitting... shortly after that was fit, he was diagnosed with meningitis so the shunt had to be removed and a ct scan was done where the shadow was first discovered.
I was the one who decided to take him to hospital on the 9th june 2016 and since then its been nothing but bad news.. how do i get rid of this guilt i carry everyday?
Shifting the meningitis...

My mum was diagnosed with incurable cancer in July last year. Every month we're getting to spend with her feels special and is definitely a gift.
She's stubbornly independent, traits which I definitely take from her! She's tired but getting bored of sitting in the house so I decided to take her out for a wee coffee to a garden centre. It felt nice to be able to spend time with her, just the two of us. Half way through a bite of cake she suddenly started to talk about her treatment. That's when...
Hello blogees (is that even a word? I might have made it up )
Just thought I'd take five minutes to update you all on the latest happenings concerning the Bastard. Seems a perfect moment to do it as the children are all still asleep and Mr H is occupied on the PlayStation.
The last fortnight has been hard. I won't lie. Things are starting to go wrong with my body. Nasty urinary tract infection, bowel issues and pain. The pain just keeps on getting worse. Those people out there who suffer with...
