So things have settled down a bit, mum seems to be stabilising a bit and day to day life feels like it is becoming a new kind of normal. She helped make dinner tonight for the first time in a long time and it was a huge momentous moment which we were able to share together .
This is positive however......I seem to have become an insomniac! Because things have settled down a bit and I'm not rushing around quite so much Im not as exhausted as I was and now have too much time to think, especially at night when everyone else is snoring!
So apart from changing to a job where I could do constant nightshifts.......
Has anyone found a way to help or solve this (without resorting to counting sheep or taking tablets from the doctor!!)?
