    Things are looking up
Had a good day today. Up at 7, went to work and when I got back hubby and kids had sorted out a barbie for me. Made the most of it and pottered around doing as little as possible. Also went out last night to another barbie, some friends who have been where Nick and I are now. Was quite nice to chat to someone who has "been there, done that" I realise that everyone is different in their approach to this and each person reacts differently to treatment. Managed to avoid looking up on the computer to...

Today has been a great day, My sister came to visit wth her husband and one of her two sons, I was dreading her arrival as I knew that there would be alot of emotion as she has not seen my mum since we got the news that mum has cancer, I know that sounds selfish of me as I have had just over a week to mull it over and spent every day woth mum. They had a meeting about brandon on mon and that was me just finding out. So i said they are not getting near him until i speak to the doctor. He was ment to wait 3wks not 2wks between surgery and chemo. I feel as if they are doing to much to him they are not giving him a chance for his body to heal with one thing before they put...

    Got Him Home
I've got him home from hospital now, he discharged himself late on Thursday night. He is very quiet, very pale - he is eating & drinking more than he did whilst he was in hospital which is a good thing. He never complains of any pain, I see him wince or take a deep breath every now & then & when I question him he says he is ok, just a bit uncomfortable. He's been getting up 4/5 times during the night for a wee, since his original bowel cancer operation he has always had a problem weeing. He says...
