    snow,ice and feeling low

I tried to go to work today but couldn't get the car out of the drive.  I know this is happening to loads of people but I just came in the house and cried.  if Steve had been here he would have sorted it.

There is a (New Year) Vibe in the Soup: Part VII

Who is the director of this soup-opera?  Why does he keep on ordering more snow?  Does he not like the principal characters of his homely drama?
    More snow, he demands.
    The fiend.
And it snows again.  And again.
As if our main characters do not already have enough to contend with:  frozen plumbing; Hounds from Hell; Ancient Aga and all the other inconveniences of  very basic country living.
And let’s not forget they are living with The Uninvited Guest.  (For the benefit of any...

    Bertiebassett 6th Jan 2010

Tomorrow will be our 29th wedding anniversary I remember the day as if it were yesterday. We had only known each other for 3 months we were skint but happy. Back then 29 years seemed like a lifetime away

Now, well what now. That lifetime has all but gone for Bert, he sleeps almost all the time, when he is awake he is having more and more panic attacks. We will spend the afternoon at the clinic and by the time we get back he will be exhausted and go straight to bed.

We have not always had good...

Hi Chemo starting next week-Really really scared!

Hi Everyone, Hope you are all doing as well as possible.

My darling, handsome dad starts his chemo on Thurs 14th and i am so scared about what will happen.

At the moment when the doctors talk about his illness they could be talking about someone else- he just appears so bright and well.

I am worried that by the end of next week he may actually be poorly.

I know this sounds silly but you would not believe me when i say how 'normal' he is, which is what makes his prognosis so difficult to comprehend...
