Just back from the check up and the docot told me its normal for Brandon to get out of breath and to get tired easily. He said it will be at least 4 to 5 years before he starts getting back to normal. Brandon wasnt happy to hear that he said it wasnt normal and now everyone will know that he is different. Im so proud of Brandon he actually told the doc everything that was going on in his head and his biggest fear of it coming back. It is the first time he opened up and let us know what was going...

March the 23rd 4.05
That date and time is etched on my memory as long as I'm alive
My Mum passed away and her soul was re-leased
Life as I knew it had come to cease
Birthdays and Christmases she made the best
Now I have a dull ache in my chest
She taught me so much when I was a child
All the time she spent teaching me every nursey ryhme that was told.
The holidays in Peebles where we as kids ran wild
The singing of songs about coos and sheep
Till you came and told us you didn't want...
Hi
I,m sitting here not sure what to say or do. My wife of 30 years, was diagnosed with cancer of the brain and lung last Thursday, after having a fit whilst taking a driving lesson. We are just waiting for the result of a biopsy taken Friday. I have two grown up kids who have been wonderful, infact, my wife appears to be stronger than any of us at the moment. I can only think of one thing every moment of the day . . . cancer! What will happen, can it be treated, will she suffer, so on and so on...

I went into Northampton early for repeat bloods to be taken in case there was an improvement since Friday's blood test. In fact, on one of the measures - neutrophils - the count was actually worse than two weeks ago when my chemo was postponed. Today the count was 0.5 (ideally should be 1.5 for treatment to go ahead), and the total...
