    I'm Scared
Been to see my hubby Martin in hospital today. He had his op on Thursday, he is feeling sick & very tired, totally different to usual. After all his previous ops he has bounced back & by day 3 he is frothing at the mouth to get them to discharge him. He isn't one to moan, he doesn't like to bother or worry anyone, so I know he is def feeling poorly - this time they didn't actually remove the tumour, they've said it's inoperable this time, too dangerous, now we've got to wait for an appointment with...

    Results tomorrow
Just a quickie tonight as I am really tired and going to go to bed VERY soon. I get the results of my PET CT tomorrow where I will find out if I have cancer in my liver as well as the lymph nodes in my neck/chest. I suppose it doesnt really make much difference if it is in my liver or not...the cancer is back and has already spread. Maybe it just seems more 'serious' if its there, I dont know. I will also get the official result of my MUGA scan although the tech did tell me it was 60% which didnt...

Starting to get a bit worried
It is a few weeks since I was last on the bolg site other than to follow what you are all up to, but as the time for my next visit to hospital gets closer the more concerned I become. Since I did my first blog I have had more blood tests but no more results. I have to wait 'til the 19th of this month for those and all the other tests I have had done. I dont know if any of you out there have had to play this waiting game, but if you have how did you cope. Do any of you like me live alone and have...

Hi all, Im very new o this and not really sure what to write.. I have joined this site as i have just recently found outthat my mum has cancer. Im still really struggling o take it all in and cant get my head round it at all. had a good day
It was family friday today, the night when we all go to my sisters. Ian surprised me when I asked him if he wanted to come and said yes, cos he normally struggles with it. We had a really good night, he didn't once look as though he was struggling. Have just realised it is probably due to the steroids starting to kicking in. If he carries on like this he should feel strong enough to cope with the chemo that Dr Sykes offered. I'll talk to him in the morning about it.

My mum had her hyst. two and half weeks ago ..wound healing and swelling gone down .. but she is complaining of pain in her thigh and when she touches it, it feels numb. Rang the helpline and they say might be a trapped nerve ?? She was supposed to have her appointment at the hospital but they canx as some of the results arent back .. Has anyone else had this kind of thing ? is it maybe something to do with the lymph glands they removed ... Lympowassit ?? Please help??

    My story...
Hello My name is Marnie and I just want to say Im sorry that your husband dies of cancer. I hate CANCER!!! I experienced thyroid cancer and it made me so chemically out of balance that I have to take six different drugs plus Vitamins to stay sane. Didnt know this was gonna be a such a long journey considering the type of cancer. But the past six years caused me to invent a product to help me organize my pills. I didnt want an old pill box. It reminds me of a sick person. I am getting well not sick...
