1 minute read time.

So my phone call on Thurs will be the results of my bloods, which I do fret about, and then check list of has anything changed or been different since the last time, of which there has been quite a lot.

Mandy is blunt and she steam rolls through what she wants to say, fires off multiple questions and gives no time for me to take a breath and get everything out. It's like a favour she is talking to you at all.

I got an unexpected phone call from Mandy last week, she was very hyped, wanting to know where my blood results were for Chemo. Um, well Mandy you have the wrong date there, she repeated she didn't and  counted through the dates for me. I insisted she did. I' m having Chemo every 4 weeks not 3.

;Oh' she said .She  then said the calendar must  have put it in automatically. I don't really believe that. This is because I remember correcting her about this as she initially said three weeks and I said that it was four when we were discussing dates  when I spoke to her last

A hyped Mandy is quite something, so I quite firmly told her to slow up and she had give me time to reply. That is what I will be doing from now on.

She is the last person I want to speak to about taking anti-depressants again and am hoping that this is something so routine we can just skip through it as a med thing.

This is not a pressure of time thing,I have had the same appointments with other people and know that it can be done better. So when I hear it's Mandy my heart sinks and I feel like I have pulled the short straw.
