To date this is one if not the hardest blog to write,where do I start?.We have had to increase Mo's steroid dosage from 12mg to 16mg per day.Unfortunately the cancer seems to be spreading far quicker than the steroids are working,if they are.This isn't normally what happens the progression of Mo's cancer and the subsequent increase in steroids is a lot quicker (less than 6 weeks)than us and anyone,including Kath the Macmillan nurse has ever seen.This obviously is a major concern for all of us,technically...
I did try to update earlier but I've no idea what happened to my post. I'm a bit tired to go through it all again, so will just give a synopsis.
Its now 15th October, 2011 and I've had a great year. Completed 2 level 3 diplomas and have just started college again doing a full time beauty course. Don't post very often but thought I would share 2 years today was when I had my last of 8 R-Chop chemo and the roller coaster ride has continued but the noise reduces with time, as many of you know. So 2 years on and I am still a good stat and now targeting the 5 yr mark. So everyone going through treatment the is a light at the end of the tunnel and its shining bright for me.
It looks like I have been one of the few who have long term damage from the chemo and only now am I starting to get...

Well I am fit enought to go back to work part time and I had my first two afternoons last week.It feels very odd as obviously I have been in a protective bubble for the past 11 months.
My life has completely changed and I am a 'new me' who hasn't figured it all out yet.
I feel like a square peg in a round hole...part of me doesn't work properly due to treatment...my brain doesn't retain information and my right arm is bad with lymphoedema and I am limited to duties and fatigue is draining...
I have been waiting to hear the results of cervical biopsies taken on 12/09/11 and have finally been told (yesterday) that they are ready and that the results will be shown to the colposcopy nurse and that I should receive a letter next week.
In the meantime I also had a biopsy done (7/10/11) on a new lesion that appeared on the foot I had Melanoma removed from in January...........It was marked as urgent.
I was due to go and see my plastic surgeon on 27/10/11 after my appointment on 20/10/11 was...
OK but as eating more suffering hiccups and burping.Hospital say nothing to get concerned about so that helps.Apparently my digestive system still settling down.Got my cd recorded this week and is selling really well.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in August of this year, after being refered for an enlarged lymph node I had a biopsy and the lymph node contained cancer cells. I was then advised to have all the lymph nodes removed from my left arm and a mastectomy of my left breast followed by 6 months chemotherapy. My boyfriend was devastated and could not understand how I made the decision to have a mastectomy without a second thought (his words) he predicted that I would be laid up in bed for weeks afterwards...
4th June 2011 - Health Check-up @ Clinic in London.
Doctor T felt a small lump in my neck and said I should have it checked at GP.
30th June 2011 - Visited local GP in Woking armed with Check-up results.
Was referred to Ms LP @ St. Peter's hospital to have the Nodule checked.
6th July 2011 - Thyroid ultrasound scan @ St Peter's Hospital.
18th July 2011 - Clinic with Ms LP @ St. Peter's Hospital
Confirmed a small nodule on Right Thyroid and proposed biopsy.
25th July 2011 - FNA on Nodule done...
