Hello,
im 4 years since diagnosis, surgery and treatment. Over the last couple of months I’ve seen white patches on my vulva minor. It’s on both sides. I’ve got no pain and the patches are not raised. My GP says he doesn’t think it’s Lichen sclerosus, so said to go back to Gynae oncologist, which I have done (appointment in 10 days). I’m thinking perhaps it’s something that happens after menopause (surgical or otherwise).
does anyone have any experience of this? I know everyone is different, but I’m interested in any ideas people mIght have.
many thanks
louise

Hi Louise
It might be an idea to ask a nurse on our Ask the Expert. They might have an idea so when you see your Gynae Oncologist in a few days time you might have some further info. I had my menopause years ago & I've not experienced this.
Sending big hugs, Barb xx

Hi , I hope they will be able to explain the reasons for the white patches? Although I didn’t have this problem up to now i do wonder about it. Apart from this how have you been generally? I bet your appointment cant come soon enough, i hope all your concerns are addressed.
sending you a gentle bear hug
