I'm so fed up Friday night I lost vision in left eye for about 10 mins rang 911 they told me to go to A&E spent 3 hrs there they are thinking Mini Stroke had CT scan on head, sat consultant rang he wanted me to have MRI scan check the arteries so had that done on sat. Consultant literally rang me 20 mins after having MRI to say everything looked ok but radiologist needed to look at results.
Consultant rang today again send everthing looked ok with arteries but something flagged up on my chest. Now waiting for CT on chest plus the CT scan that I need for the lump in my stomach. ( It obviously got cancelled but after having phone consultation with CNS nurse she was requesting it again as urgent ) . Just need a break. Xx

Hi Michelle,
I think Scans are sometimes a two edged sword. Its good when they pick up something that needs sorting, but sometimes they pick things up that have been there for years, and are not troubling anyone. When I had scans for my hysterectomy they found that my thyroid was multiplying down the back of my throat. I had no idea, and had no symptoms. Although the gynae team were very insistent I had it looked at, the throat team were not worried, and said they had seen a lot worse!! I just have to go back if I have trouble eating or breathing!!! So far, so good.
I really hope this turns out to be something small for you. XXXXXX
