    Hi Haribo

I don't have that kind, but my cancer reappeared on my omentum, and a little bit on my bowel. I am on doxorubicin and cisplatin at the moment. I get my seventh cycle tomorrow. What's the orla?

    Lots of love

  • Hello Haribo,

Welcome to the forum, tbough I'm very sorry for the reasons you find yourself here. It must be difficult discovering that you have a recurrence and facing chemo is daunting to say the least.  I had a hysterectomy followed by 6 cycles of carboplatin / paclitaxel and external radiotherapy for a different cancer, aggressive serous endometrial adenocarcinoma in 206/17, so not the same thing but  I do  remember the chemo for that being tough but doable. Alison (bellabingo) is  currently having doxorubicin for a recurrence of a different type of cancer and can tell you more about that type of chemo. I'm sure other ladies will pop in soon to offer their support and to share their stories.

i hope the chemo does what is intended to do and gets rid of this recurrence. Gentle hugs.  Please keep posting and let us know how you get on x

Just had my doxorubicin. They give me it through a cannula in my hand. It is given by the nurse via a syringe. When you go for your first pee it is pink.

    Doesn't take long to administer

  • Hi Alison

I'm not hijacking the thread, just sending  you lots of love, hugs and prayers that the chemo is working x

  • Dear Haribo!

I realise your post was two years ago, so I hope you’re feeling better again by now?

Im writing to you because I had a uterine adenosarcoma & total hysterectomy in Sept 2018.

So far I had no recurrence. Still on check ups & scans every 6-9 months.

I was wondering if you can let me know when was your first diagnosis with uterine adenosarcoma?

Im told by my consultant this is a very rare kind of cancer.

Mine was also grade 3 with lymphovascular space involvement. So I had 6 weeks radiotherapy.

Currently enjoying life- I hope you do too!

The risk of recurrence is still there for me.

I hope you don’t mind me asking about your recurrence, ie how long it was after the original cancer?

God bless you & keep you in His peace

    Thankyou

    Fatfish

    Rest assured
