Hi,
I’m going on holiday in August and planning to take Norethisterone (period delaying tablets). Does anyone know if thyroxine or the fact I’ve had a total thyroidectomy (May 2018) due to PTC will affect this?
Any help appreciated.

Hey there Michelle,
I know that some birth control tablets can interfere with your thyroxine. However it looks like the tablet you're going to take is a progesterone one.
I believe the best thing to do - as I'm on progesterone too - is to leave at least half an hour after taking thyroxine, before taking the period delaying tablets. That way the thyroxine will be safely absorbed before the other gets in there.

What is going on with all these blank posts? I've had a load of annoying notifications and all of them are blank.
Best wishes
