Hi,
This forum has been very helpful in my journey through this. I got diagnosed on sept. 16, had orchiectomy on sept. 30 and just got the results today (oct. 30).
Echo was a 4 cm intratesticular mass with heterogeneous appearance and calcifications. So the urologist went on the orchiectomy. He told me on sept. 28 that this could be a Non Seminoma because of the heterogeneous appearance and the calcifications.
I went through trouble times not knowing exactly what would be the outcome. Almost achieved a PhD on the subject of testicular cancer!! (joke).
Now, the urologist just told me that I had a huge epidermoid kyst so that was the best outcome for me today. No treatment plan, no follow-up. Goodbye.
I came out pretty empty. Feeling like I had nothing almost and that I’ve stressed so many people near me (wife, mother, father, sister, etc.). I went through so much story (your story) on this site. I almost felt your struggle, pain, anxiety, etc.
Very mixed feelings.
Wish you the best.
Regards
p.s.: mothertongue = french. so sorry for my english!
