I was sorry to read that your husband was diagnosed with a sarcoma and for everything that you’re both feeling and coping with. I hope that you will find it helpful to be part of the Community and to be able to connect with people who have some understanding of what you're going through.
I wanted to make sure that you have the right support around you and that you know who to contact when you have questions about further tests, results and treatment plans.
It’s positive that you’ve already reached out for some support in the forums and please do keep talking as we know it can help to talk to people who have felt like you have. Waiting times can depend on where you live and the diagnosis so far.
The NHS aims to diagnose and treat cancer within a set period of time. Depending on where you are in the UK, there may be guidelines about how quickly you meet a specialist or have tests.

As you're supporting your husband, you might also find it helpful to join our Carers only forum. It's a safe space for you to find some support for yourself. Macmillan also has lots of information here to help support you when your loved one has cancer.
