T2N0, Gleason 8 prostate

Hello

My husband’s just been diagnosed with confined T2N0 grade 8 prostate cancer.

I wanted to know what is the life expectancy after radical prostatectomy? Considering this is a confined cancer, what is the chance of recurrence?

Although it's moderately aggressive it's good that it's confined to the gland.

Still curable really, impossible to speculate on life expectancy but I don't think that u need to be thinking on that subject anytime soon.

Recurrence can happen to anyone with cancer but because it is confined probably less likely. By the way,. what is the PSa?

So that's good , low psa,, confined, shouldn't be a problem, hope he gets treatment soon
