Hi there. I am new. I have a pituitary adenoma just short of a macro adenoma. Age 50.  I had recently had an elevated prolactin of 33.5 and then a second test with normal prolactin. I suffer from headaches with pressure and severe eye pain from movement and activity. I can settle symptoms if I just sit still. I am wondering if others get head and eye pressure with severe onset headache with movement?

  • Hi CONATIVE welcome to the forum. Like you I have a Prolactinoma which has since been classed and  a Micro-adenoma and have had this since I was 23 so 40 years now and no issue with it though I was for many years on Bromocriptine and had field vision checks on a regular basis but haven't had these for some years now .

I'm wondering if it is worth a visit for you to the Optician as they always check field vision and would be able to tell if there was any pressure on the Optic Nerve which may be related to the symptoms that you are describing, worth checking out I think.

    Hi Granny59

I had recent imaging and it is not near the optic nerve. Although, I do have blurred optic something (sorry cant remember the term off the top of my head) Nuero Opthamologist said showed prior Intracranial Hypertension. However, I stil have IH that is aggravated by movement and activity.. Constant Sphenoid sinus fluid and pressure. Thank you for replying   :)
