Hi all,

I’ll try to keep this brief.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer (HER2+ve) in April 2018 and finished all treatment in November 2019 (chemo, radiotherapy, bilateral mastectomy and removal of lymph nodes).

For the last couple of months I’ve been having almost constant period-like pains around my lower back and abdo, feeling very hot and flushed and faint on and off, sharp intermittent lower left abdo pain, bloated, nauseous and I become full quite quickly.

I was referred on Monday and have a TV ultrasound scan next Friday followed by a consultant appt.

I’m not sure the point of this post except to empty my brain which is full of worries to people I know who will understand.

Thank you for listening xx

    Hello Spring1,

Empty your brain as often as you want on here, you're in good company.

I can imagine that you are wracked with worry having gone through so much already. It looks like the hospital is quick on the case and hopefully will find the cause of your symptoms and put an end to your discomfort.

I'll be keeping everything crossed for you on your tests. Wishing you all the best

Just wanted to say Fish that today’s scan was negative for ovarian ca. I saw the GP later as need to get to the bottom of the pain and she’s sending me to have a bone scan to hopefully rule of bone metastasis. I just wanted to thank you for being a virtual cheerleader and know that you have my support too

    xx
