Quite a minor thing,I wondered if anyone else feels cold on chemo? I’m on paclitaxel and avastin,my house is warm but I always have to wear four layers indoors. At night I’ve gone from a nightie and a duvet to pyjamas a duvet with a fleecy blanket on top and a hot water bottle! Have one more session of chemotherapy with avastin, then avastin for a year, hoping the chemo is the cause not the avastin!!
Hi Jifftiff, chilly on chemo...yep. I'm on the same chemo/avastin combi as you (3 more chemo's to go) and I have felt chilly.
I've taken to wearing a fleecy hat in bed as having my baldy head out in the air is freezing. Generally I think you become quite sensitive to temperature when you are on chemo. I noticed it last year when I was on paclitaxel and carboplatin. Once all the body hair had gone everything felt cold. I was thankful it was a mild winter. I also get really cold around the neck so have taken to wearing scarfs indoors lol.
It's a look....not a great one I admit
