I have a rare Ovarian .cancer called Granulosa Cell Tumour and the main treatment is surgery until this becomes impossible.
i was just wondering if any of your lovely ladies had received Cyberknife treatment on any of your Tumours. I believe you have to meet very strict criteria but just wanted to ask the question.
Many Thanks
Hi Derbies, I've not got ovarian cancer, but have had cyberknife to treat a secondary brain tumour ( primary is kidney cancer)
I had 3 x 20 mins sessions over 3 consecutive days in 2013.
I believe the tumour has to b smaller than a certain size - 3 cm if I remember correctly.
Hope that helps
Sue

Sorry it posted twice lol!!
Hi Sue, thanks for your reply.
At the moment I believe that both my tumours are below 3cm, it’s just going to be such a big surgery and long recovery. If I could access Cyberknife it would be so much better and a lot less painful!
Hope you’re still doing OK.
Debbie
