Terrified & confused

Are u still waiting for results? 

Do u know what stage urs is lymph nodes & any spread?

We only saw a lung specialist today not an oncologist

I can well imagine how ur head is feeling & I feel for u x

Yes all i know is upper right lobe nodule waiting for biopsy results days turn into wks , you feel like your a ticking time bomb , all these emotions,  your life just changed forever

Mines stage 2B and they say it looks contained but because it’s 5cm they want to try shrink it before surgery, it’s a new immunotherapy treatment apparently and recently approved in uk. Doesn’t look like it’s spread to lymph nodes but they will take some away during surgery when that happens 

Amazing with all these new treatments, give us all hope  x

Waiting for the biopsy results seemed to take awhile and then when they did come and stage it, they send it off for more tests to check the markers which told me I was eligible for the latest treatment 

Oh my days , so more waiting. But I guess we get the right treatment and that's brilliant for you x

The MacMillan nurses are amazing and so helpful but once you get your oncologist appointment they say they tend to back off as we are in the oncologist hands from there..

I hope everything goes smoothly for u. So many treatments now.

I think this wait will be weeks now for us, results next week, then a biopsy, then the wait on that. I think doc said 3/4 wks, but I cud be wrong 

It definitely has changed my life and my mental state completely since my doctor first told me he suspected it was cancer on Dec 19th, test after test…waiting after waiting…
