Hi Lovely People
I have just started immunotherapy treatment with Durvalumab for lung cancer. The plan is every 4x weeks for 12 months and I am one down. I found I was really tired for first 5x days and have a bit of an itchy cough . Has anyone else had any side effects or delayed side effects?
Thanks
Jill
Hi, my husband started on a years course of this in February. So far the only side effects for him have been fatigue after treatment and now some constipation, so it’s much better than the radiotherapy and chemo he had previously. Obviously, this is a newer type of treatment and there is not much information available online about possible side effects, also everyone will respond differently. Your team will keep a close eye on you and if you are concerned it’s always best to call the helpline to check. I hope that your side effects remain minimal and that your treatment is successful
Hi Jill,
I've just had my 3rd session of Durvalumab. The side effects I am having include fatigue, rash on my face and constipation.
Can I ask what stage you are.
Liz
