Hello, does anyone have any information on generic drugs. I have heard of Cabozanix which is supposed to be the same as Cabozantinib and that is manufactured in Bangladesh. In New Zealand Cabozantinib is not a funded drug. Thanks

  • Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community although I'm sorry you've had to find us.

I had a different type of cancer and don't have any personal knowledge of cabozantinib but I noticed that your post hadn't had any responses yet. Macmillan has this information about the drug which might provide you with more information.

If you type 'cabozantinib' into the search bar in this group you'll find quite a few previous posts which mention it. You could have a read through those and respond to any of the posters who you think might be able to help you further.

When you have a minute, it would be really useful if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
