Hi all.. I'm still waiting to see oncologist, but my throat is getting sore from constantly having to clear it... I've been prescribed Difflam, but I'm just wondering how the rest of you cope. I see BioXtra is mentioned a lot.
Yes you have. It’s T2N2bM0
had biopsy on lymph nodes, but haven't heard anything about that yet.

On your letter there should be a phone number and your hospital number as a patient I would ring asking when mask is being made

Hi you’re in the system maybe Leicester have a big back log and that’s the first date they can fit you in but I would ring to ask. Don’t stress about treatment starting I was 63 days from diagnosis I misunderstood thiught you hadn’t been processed. I know Dani had a long wait at her hospital.
That was pre covid
Best advise keep busy keep, off Dr Google , bear in mind there’s Christmas as well so that causes a backlog purely because they are playing catch up for a few days get some good box sets and chill once treatment starts it can take off pretty sharply for some others plod along there no way of telling just keep healthy and exercise in the meantime nothing major but a good walk doesn’t hurt

Your CNS works closely with your oncologist so what they tel you is likely what the score is. I might try contacting them and say you’ll take ANY cancellation. They do come up.

I know Dani had a long wait at her hospital.
My first consultant appointment was 29th September and my treatment started on December 12
My stage 2 remained the same and I’m a whisker away from five years.
