just waited ages to get through, went through security checks and agent said your claim has already been submitted, i cant help, i explained last letter i had said they would send a form and information booklet, to read and complete. i never have had it. so have never sent any information back for them to assess the claim, given another number to ring, rang to advise this, just been going backwards and forwards between the 2 numbers without any luck
any where else i can go, so frustrated and now worried, thank you
They really do make you jump through hoops to get what is rightfully yours. Disgraceful in my opinion how hard they make it for people with a cancer diagnosis to get financial help but it's a breezeb for others.......
Hi when we applied for PIP we were turned down at first and had to appeal, it was called DLA then. We then had to move to PIP and we used Fightback to assist with the transition, which were good. I am sure the Macmillan welfare can help but if not, please google Fightback.
You can also claim for PIP online and it will take you through the same questions as paper form. Once completed you will then have a phone call from someone to discuss a date for a potential phone call appointment with someone to discuss your claim.
Hope this helps and you get somewhere with it.
Kayleigh.
