Hubby started cycle 1 yesterday. Feeling rough this afternoon but meds helped.
Hes developed hiccups today which is tiring and a very sore throat. Is this common? Sorry to keep asking questions but you don’t know what you don’t know until this starts
Thank you
Geraldine
Is it normal for the second round of chemo after surgery to be worse and if so do you know why that is ? And how long after surgery did you start your second round?
The post op chemo started 10 weeks after my operation. Any sooner would have been terrible as you're still recovering from the operation anyway. The effects of chemo are cumulative so tend to get a bit worse the more you have. My dosage is being reduced because my weight has dropped since my operation
