Hubby started cycle 1 yesterday. Feeling rough this afternoon but meds helped.
Hes developed hiccups today which is tiring and a very sore throat. Is this common? Sorry to keep asking questions but you don’t know what you don’t know until this starts
Thank you
Geraldine
Do hope so ! Sure it will settle my hands and legs are worse this time round ! Funny thing is I never had any problems swallowing it was just keeping it down and haven’t had acid reflux for years and was given the ok from a endoscopy in May from the harbour side cancer came as a bit of a surprise in Oct ! The only thing I did have which has now stopped is bringing up loads of froth from swallowing saliva. Did he suffer from reflux before I know he struggled with hiccups.. who is your GI nurse I have Ruth and she is great for a chat if he’s worried.
Sending hugs Tricia x
Paracetamol helps….. it’s like last time but worse and hits suddenly all over. Just horrible side effects not likely anything more sinister. What a terrible shock to get an all clear and then an OC diagnosis. Chris was diagnosed with an ulcer 2 years ago and has had terrible heartburn and indigestion for years …… red flags as we know now!
Chris thinks the same …… the pump seems to have emptied more quickly than last time
I'm convinced they're all trying to bump us off one way or another!! LoL
I've had six FLOT sessions so far. 4 x pre-surgery and 2x post-op. The last one was at 75% and if I have any more they are reducing it to 50%
