Hubby started cycle 1 yesterday. Feeling rough this afternoon but meds helped.
Hes developed hiccups today which is tiring and a very sore throat. Is this common? Sorry to keep asking questions but you don’t know what you don’t know until this starts

Oh dear has he got to go and have his pump disconnected today ? If so he could ask the nurse as I’m not sure but good thing about this site I’m sure somebody will know !,

I have always had a funny throat since this all started !,

Thank you. Pump was disconnected at Bridgwater this afternoon. We expected to see a nurse but it was two HCAs who said they couldnt answer any questions. He is really feeling rough with such a painful throat. Temp is normal. Won’t let me call helpline.

I don’t remember either hiccups or sore throat being side effects from my FLOT chemo. What treatment is your husband receiving?

It’s standard FLOT chemo. Dexamethasone steroids. His throat is so painful and he’s too hoarse to talk.
