Hubby started cycle 1 yesterday. Feeling rough this afternoon but meds helped.
Hes developed hiccups today which is tiring and a very sore throat. Is this common? Sorry to keep asking questions but you don’t know what you don’t know until this starts
Thank you
Geraldine
Hubby had his second chemo cycle today postponed from last week as his bloods weren’t ok. He coped ok with the first cycle apart from the second day but he hadn’t taken the meds they gave him quickly enough. We know better now. He had neuropathy in his hands which improved in the second week but it has come back immediately after chemo today so back to wearing gloves near the fridge and not going near the freezer. I hope things went ok for you and you don’t get too many side effects. It’s so unpredictable

I had the opposite happen to me....mine emptied way too quickly!! I thought they were trying to kill me by overdosing me!!
My friend had hiccups all though chemo - like all the time but no sore throat
I hope he will be ok :)

It will get better over time just don’t handle anything cold and put gloves on if you go in the fridge or outside
