Hello everyone, I had a whipple operation in August 2024 after a benign tumour was found incidentally when having a gastroscopy as have acid reflux. I am recovering well now but it was a slow srart due to drain leakage and because my stomach wouldn't work properly post surgery I needed to be on a feeding tube. I was readmitted to hospital as I was bringing up lots of bile which has now stopped and occasionally get bile burps and slight nausea. I was low on iron so my HPB specialist took blood and has now contacted me to say he wants me to have an MRI scan due to very high liver function results. They were high in hospital, the doctor called them deranged. Does amyone else have this ? Will I need a stent in my bile duct, could there be a blockage or another tumour or perhaps the onset of type 3c diabetes. Any information would be appreciated, many thanks . Kimm
