Hey!
Im new to all this but I’m beside myself with worry and would just like to know if anyone else has experienced the same and could tell me if it gets any better.
I was diagnosed with stage 1b1 cervical cancer a month ago and I am 12 days post op after having a radical hysterectomy and lymph node removal.
I was back in today after leaking great amounts of watery pink fluid, it’s happening all the time! I got a CT scan and they said I still have a lot of surgical emphysema and fluid in my abdomen, likely to be because of the lymph nodes that have been removed.
Has this happened to anyone else? I’m back in to see my doctor next week to see if there’s any improvement! It’s going to be a long week like this!
Thanks in advance!
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
I haven't had the same experience as you so can't help with your question but I noticed that your post had gone unanswered. By replying to you it will bump it back to the top of the page where it will hopefully be seen by someone who can help you.
Waiting for results and tests is very stressful but I hope that when you see your doctor s/he will be able to put your mind at rest.
