Suzanne I am going in on the 19th for same as you just wondered how your doing x
Hi , I’m doing good thank you , not in pain it’s just a bit stingy that’s all .. the drain is the most irritating thing ha ha .. are you having lymph node removal too ? X
Yes Suzanne I am my nerves are gone never been so scared
I’ve sent you a friend request, believe me when I say I was petrified!! I really was .. but it really wasn’t as bad or scary as I’d imagined it would be , i think when you are there and getting it dealt with was better than the build up of waiting .. I’m happy to support you though it xx
I was the same - absolutely terrified, but as Suzanne has said, it really wasn't as bad as I thought. I was worried about looking at the wound afterwards and had toldthe nurses this, and they were so very very kind. When the corset was taken off forthe first time, there were two nurses and the surgeon to support me, held my hand and had tissues on hand (which I didn't need). Just tell the staff how you feell. Good luck. Will be thinking of you. I am at the hospital this morningto seethe oncologist to see what my treatment plan is, needless to say I am very anxious about that. xxx
