Hello
I've just been diagnosed with invasive ductal cancer grade 3 triple negative I'm so scared is anyone going through the same?
Hi Jayne, please can I ask how you were diagnosed with clots? Did.you have symptoms and then investigsted? And what where they symptoms? I too am worried about covid and now there is a different strain again. I am so worried with immune system being low, I wouldn't be able to fight it if I got it. It's so scary.

Just do things that will make you happier or mentally can cope. It's so hard I feel for you!
The first 4 days after chemo I was very restless, then realised that was side effect of steroids and after they finished it settled. Have had few minor side effects but count myself lucky as they have not been too bad x
Hey Shazzer. How are you?
Results yes...mastectomy with clear margins, the two nodes removed, one has micromestasis...sadly coz intially i was told nodes clear. It is what it is!! This really worries me how quick things can happen so I am keen for chemo to go ahead sooner rather than later really. Any words of advice or comfort?
On the brighter note the arms are really moving good, the wound scab over so wee bit itchy.
Are u doing ok? What you up to the weekend?
C x
Hi Harleybear
i know there is a financial helpline on here and benefits you maybe able to tap into. I am sure you’ve probably looked but just in case. The last thing you need is to worry about finances at this stage with everything else going on! Xx
Hi Mel I had a red patch on my arm and it was a little sore and a little swollen. This was all minimal so went in for assessment and had an ultrasound scan found clot in small superficial vein. They are not treating it they think it will disperse by it's self. I just don't want another one or a DVT which could be potentially very dangerous. So I'm on daily injections to prevent it. But I must not cut myself as it will be difficult to stop as what happened to me last Saturday when I cut my foot and had to go to AE for first time in my life! I wear gloves a lot now and don't wash up any thing now do very little. Wrapped up in cotton wool these days . Clots are not uncommon on Chemotherapy you must ring your treatment line if you have anything like i had . Just keep an eye and I'm sure you will be fine most people are X
Hope you are back home in the warm now resting Harleybear. That wind is evil.
