Its great you're sounding upbeat about things, a good way to approach cancer and all it brings! Have you had a look at the monthly chemotherapy and radiotherapy threads - they're at the top of the diagnosis and treatment section and are highlighted?  There are links to some great top tips in there and also you'll meet lots of pople going through the same as you.

Another warm welcome to the online community from me - though sorry you find yourself here.

As Yorkshire defector says, you sound very positive and prepared. We are a large group of very friendly folk who have all been there and are happy to help and support you as much as you need.

Here is a link to the February breast cancer chemo thread that yorkshire defector mentioned - it's a place for everyone having treatment to get together and share tips and experiences and we refresh it each month.

Have a look around the site (it's very big) we have some long-running threads that you are more than welcome to join in with - general chat and motivation - very good when you need some distraction. Join in wherever you feel comfortable and if you have any specific questions then shout and we'll do our best to answer them. No need to worry about where you post them - we'll find you.

As for tips - distraction is great, take it one step at a time - the next minute, next hour when you need to. Be kind to yourself - laugh, cry, rant, get angry - they're all valid. It's not a breeze but it's do-able and you'll surprise yourself. One day you'll be out the other side wondering what just happened.
