Hi I was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer on 14th December and I had my surgery on 19th Jan. it all feels like a bit of an emotional roller coaster for us, and the uncomfortable stinging can move along the bus please!!! X
Hi jpv3, it's great you've had your surgery, I had mine on the 16th so just a few carriages ahead of you on this crazy rollercoaster ride.
Hope you're healing is going well and keep doing those exercises. The standing sideways arm up the wall is the worst. I found that a hot water bottle for a few minutes on my underarm really helped me and if I couldn't be bothered with a water bottle then massaging the area just before that exercise also really helped.
Hi Caren64 waiting is really the pits and the worst part of the whole process. Once you get your treatment plan you will feel better. Just remember that breast cancer is very treatable these days. Good luck with your results, hope they are good.
Sending hugs and good wishes xx
Thanks Godwilling and will know in next appointment
