Hi all,
Just been diagnosed with grade 2, poss ++ breast cancer, to start treatment after Xmas.. Positivity this end, anyone else new to this????
I've just had a mastectomy with lymph nodes removed for stage 2 er+ invasive lobular cancer. Not a good place to be. My type of cancer does not respond to chemo so, depending on the pathology results of what they removed, I may or may not have radiotherapy. Get my results on 6 January. I was diagnosed in October and my mx was on 3 December. I had 2 lumps 4.4cm and 3cm so couldn't just have a lumpectomy. Recovering now and just looking forward to Christmas. Not going to worry about the results until I get them. BC is very treatable and, apart from having to take hormone suppresants for 5-10 years, you could be free of any worries.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
