Breast MRI advice

My results after lumpectomy showed stage 2 (3cm tumour) grade 3, hormone positive HER 2 negative. I started chemo about 8 weeks after my op but only once the Oncotype score came back as intermediate. They gave me a 7% chance for recurrence so having chemo will hopefully reduce that risk to 0.5% only.  I also had 3 sentinel nodes removed which were all clear as well.

I am still glad I opted for chemo and even though it is so tough it is doable and one can get through it. Tje body is amazingly resilient! 

You had a big op and it will take time to heal. Take this time to rest and recuperate

Yes, radiotherapy about 4 weeks after my last chemo, which should be on 4 November. And then also hormone therapy, suspect you will have the same. It is a tough road, but we can walk it. Take care

Radiotherapy and hormone therapy ad well. Yours was also hormone positive  wasn't it?

Hi so pleased your lymph nodes were clear.  Can't believe they said dcis originally because that does not cause a lump does it.  Was what your oncotype score pls xx
