Hello Karly, and welcome to the site you never wanted to join!
I guess you know the answers to your questions, really, your number one should be a call to your GP and demand to be seen. They will most likely send you a referral to your local breast care unit. They will obviously do all thats needed. I really hope its nothing, but of course nobody will know as yet!
Please don't consult dr.google as its full of scare stories and usually out of date too. But rest assured that breast treatments have come on a huge amount in recent years and they are still researching!
Sending you a big comforting hug xxx

Hi - the unknown can be very scary and if you are anything like me then your mind will have the tendency to spiral out of control. You must go so your GP and they will I’m sure refer you to your breast care unit for tests. Try not to google your symptoms however tempting this is, as this will only fuel your worry. Most breast lumps are nothing to worry about but it is so important that you get yourself checked out to make sure. x
Dear ....I know it sounds trite, but try not to worry.Have you made an appointment to see your GP?that is your first port of call...once it is examined and mammogram, etc done, you can’t be absolutely sure in yourself.See if it goes after your period.I have had lumps that were cancer, but I have had very many more, that weren’t.After my diagnosis and op,I was sure that certain lumps were another cancer, only to go through the whole rigmarole of GP and tests,to find that they weren’t!(at least 3 times since!)Nobody was more surprised than me!
In the event that it is cancer, please be aware that these days so much can be done. There are many many people on here who can attest to that...and go on the survive and become cancer survivors...Very many!
My brother and I,and my brother in law,are all cancer survivors, but you wouldn’t think that to look at us!We just look normal!(well.......)and go on to live and work and live happily.Xxx
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
