Well after being fobbed off with Mastalgia and normal womens breast pain, i carried on going back as i wasn't happy and on the 19th August was told i had lobular BC, they've said its 93mm in my right breast and have said i will require a mastectomy on the 10th of september, now just waiting on results from left breast to see if its one or both that i will be having removed.
To say I'm in shock and scared to death would be an understatement, i would love to her from anyone with Lobular and here some positive stories.

macca5861 I was diagnosed with lobular of a similar size in May 2019. Mine was missed in 2018 despite me having a large palpable lump. I had neo chemo, left mastectomy & radiotherapy, finished treatment in April.
I gave them the year they asked for & they promised to pop me out at the other end, they kept to their promise. I feel really well, just trying to lose some steroid weight gain to enable decision over reconstruction.
You have got this xx
Hiya,
I had lobular bc in 2016 aged 43. I had a mastectomy, chemo, radio, ovaries out and I am now taking letrozole tablets for 10 years. I actually had a mammogram in 2014 and I was fobbed off too. No one tells you that some types of bc do not show up on a mammo!
Bc is very treatable these days. Take each day one at a time. Remember worrying about it will not change the outcome. There are lots of us on here that you can turn to if you have any questions and we can even send virtual hugs .

Hi there
I was diagnosed with lobular cancer in 2008 My lymph nodes had cancerous cells too so i had a mastectomy of my left breast and full clearance of nodes.
I had 6 rounds of Tac chemo and 13 rounds of radiotherapy
I had breast reconstruction in 2010 and finished taking Arimidex in 2018.
I am still here and enjoying my grandchildren all born since my diagnosis.
All the very best
Sue x

Hi sue
thanks for your reply, I’ve had a rollacoaster of a few wks, was all set for a double mastectomy and lymph nodes removed, chemo then radiotherapy, now they’ve found something suspicious on my spine! So I’ve got to have a spinal mri, no op now straight into chemo.. I can’t stand all this waiting around, they’ve booked me in for chemo for the 18th but I just want to crack on and start now! I’m petrified of what they may have found! I was so positive before this Laura x
