Hi wonder if anyone on here who having had chemo and breast surgery as lumps in breast and needs another scan before they can continue with chemo and targeted drugs. Anyone found lumps after having a lumpectomy?
Sometimes scar tissue can form after an operation and can form a lump. I have a little hard lump under my implant (I had a full mx). I can't remember when I first noticed it, but I did not get it checked out till after radiotherapy. Again I had to have us, biopsy and mri to check it out. Fortunately it came back as scar tissue. I have had it for 3 years now.
Hopefully this could be the same for you. If not, at least they have been checking things out and can act quickly to get it sorted.
I didn't have reconstruction, mine are a inch to the side of incision Iam having a mammogram scan on Monday before I can continue treatment the following day x
