Well I’m so shocked I walked in and the doctor said it looks like cancer we were so convinced, the mammogram looks like cancer, the biopsy says benign, so I go back next week for a vacuum biopsy as they have to be 100% she said I’m not out the woods yet, has anyone else experienced this xxx
Ive not experienced this , but I'm sure you'll get some responses . Just to say fingers crossed for you

I've had 3 areas biopsied. First 2 five years ago . Doctor 99% positive they were benign , radiographers behaviour made me think different. One area came back benign and the other DCIS. Roll forward 3 years and they biopsied my other breast after seeing something on annual mammogram but that came back benign. They redid scans and it was clear.
At my I first attendance at one stop shop there were 5 of us there. 4 recalled from routine mammogram and one on second recall 6 months later as they couldn't get enough cells at first biopsy. This time when they scanned again area had disappeared!
When they do next biopsy they will re scan area too and it might have gone .
Hopefully you are in the clear xx
Sorry I can’t help....and I know you have more time not knowing what’s going on....but at least they are being thorough and I think that is a good thing - no matter what the outcome.
We are still here! Keep us posted and we’ll keep our fingers crossed!
Hi Adella
I’ve not experienced this or know about this. Mine was a definite lump. When I first saw the surgeon to get diagnosed she thought it was a cyst because of the feel and moveability of it. I remember phoning my mum and she was so hopeful. Unfortunately it was cancer but I’m half way through my treatment and doing ok. My mum was so mad at the surgeon for saying that. Anyway we’re all human and there’s so much individualised treatment available and many tests to find out. Unfortunately this all takes time and lots of waiting . They are doing all the tests and hopefully it comes back benign. Thinking of you and sending big hugs xxx
