Hi - I wonder if anyone else has had this. Am worried and waiting for a doctor's appointment.
I had a mastectomy and lymph node removal three months ago and finished radiotherapy a week ago.
I have soft swelling above my collar bone - both sides but more on the side of the mastectomy. I have noticed this off and on for a while and it is more pronounced when I lower my shoulders down. There is no hard lump it is very soft but it is swollen.
Has anyone else had this?
Thank you
Hi . Hope you are doing OK. I haven't had this above collar bone but as you finished radio a week ago, could it be related to that? (if you had radio to the supraclavicular area?) I did get some low level swelling across my whole chest area after radio (6 weeks later it has gone down). I would say this is one to call your BCN about? Hopefully it is nothing to worry about and a chat with your BCN might reassure you? Sending hugs x
